Video: QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE Performs On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE was the musical guest on last night's (Wednesday, July 31) edition ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" The band performed two songs — "I Sat By The Ocean" and "My God Is The Sun" — on the show's Sony Outdoor Stage in front of a standing-room-only crowd. "...Like Clockwork", sold 91,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart. Issued on June 4 via Matador Records, the disc follows up "Era Vulgaris", which opened with 52,000 units back in June 2007 to enter the chart at No. 14. The band's 2005 offering "Lullabies to Paralyze" registered a first-week tally of nearly 97,000 copies, to debut at No. 5.

Described by QUEENS principal Joshua Homme as "an audio documentary of a manic year," "...Like Clockwork" is the band's first full-length collection of all new material since 2007's "Era Vulgaris", as well as its debut release on new label partner Matador.
